Jasmine Quinn

I completed my education at Milo Education and have been active as a personal trainer for two years now. Two moments in my career have always stayed with me. A 56-year-old female customer told me that thanks to our training courses, she was finally able to lift her suitcase into the train's luggage compartment again, without having to ask for help. That moment showed me how much impact strength training can have on someone's daily life. Another highlight was when a 48-year-old male customer was able to bench press 80 kg within four months of training with me, while his original goal was 60 kg for 6 reps. He exceeded his goal by a whopping 20 kg.

Jasmine's Story

My own story started when I was 17 years old. I was bullied because I was overweight: I weighed 85 kilos at a height of 1.68 meters. At some point, I was done being sad when I looked in the mirror and decided to make a change. Unfortunately, I started off in an unhealthy way and developed an eating disorder. In a short time, I lost an extreme amount of weight, but I felt sick and miserable. That was when I decided to delve into nutrition and fitness. That's how I discovered my love for the gym. At 18, I started strength training and quickly noticed that intensive exercise only works well in combination with healthy, protein-rich food. I transformed my body from weak and uncertain to strong, through knowledge and perseverance. As a result, I understand that personal training is much more than just working on your body, it is also an enormous mental challenge. I am very passionate about my work and find it important to build a pleasant and familiar relationship with my customers. Having been in a vulnerable position myself, I understand how important health really is. I know how it feels to struggle, which is why I guide my clients with understanding, motivation and realistic goals. Personally, I prefer running and strength training, and I like to combine the two. My hobbies include hard training and running, but also diving, dancing and spending time with animals... especially dogs, because that's what I love. Originally from England, I am fluent in both English and Dutch. A funny fact is that I have a huge British accent when I speak English, but you don't hear about it at all in Dutch. People are always amazed by that.

Review about coach Jasmine: Jasmine both worked at this gym and at my previous gym (van Wou). Jazzy is always friendly and welcoming when you enter the club. She is always down for a chat and keeps an eye on me if I have a question now and then. In addition, she herself is also doing a great job as a personal trainer and coach for the people she supervises.

Just had my first Intake PT session with Jasmine and it was amazing! In a short time, she addressed my main concerns and interests, made me feel comfortable with the equipment around me and asking questions, and she was very professional and knowledgeable about everything. I definitely recommend her! I'm a beginner myself, but she was able to adapt well to my needs and my lack of gym experience, and I'm very grateful for that. It made the experience a lot less exciting and even fun, and you know you're training safely and in the best possible way. Thanks for that! 😉
