Training alone is not enough; real results come from consistent, smart choices in daily life.

That's why we don't focus on extreme diets or unsustainable schedules, but on an approach that suits your lifestyle. With regular coaching sessions, we map out your habits and work on achievable changes, from sleeping better and eating smarter to more daily exercise, so that you build sustainable energy, results and balance.

THE OFFER

Open Gym

In addition to our guided sessions, you can also train independently in our Open Gym. We work by reservation only with a limited number of seats per hour, so you're never in a crowded space and the equipment you need is always available. The Open Gym is only accessible in combination with a Personal or Small Group process, because we value safe and effective exercise and thus train you with the right technique and a well-thought-out plan. After your workout, you can relax and recuperate with free use of our sauna, coffee bar and fresh protein shakes.

No time for the gym, or do you just prefer to work out outside? Then we'll bring the gym to you! Whether it's in your driveway, in the park or in the office: we'll drive by with all the necessary materials — from kettlebells to boxing gloves. We can transform any location into a gym, so that health fits seamlessly into your daily schedule.

At The Social Health Club, we don't believe in the concept of a “one size fits all” plan. Your goals and your life are unique, which is why we create a personal plan that only really works for you.

Onze werkwijze
Is there a minimum or maximum age?
No, everyone is welcome. Thanks to our personal guidance, we tailor each training to your age and physical level, so that you always train safely and responsibly.
What is open gym?
With the Open Gym subscription, you reserve a place to train independently, so that you always have enough space and equipment. Open Gym is exclusively accessible in combination with Personal or Small Group Training, so you can train safely and efficiently. Of course, you can also use the sauna and other facilities.
Are there showers and lockers?
Yes, we have modern changing rooms with secure lockers and luxurious shower facilities, so you can freshen up right after your workout.
What are the opening hours?
You can train whenever it suits you. For free training, we are open 7 days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Personal Training takes place by appointment and can be scheduled flexibly within these opening hours in consultation.
Can I book a trial lesson or day pass?
Sure. We would like to invite you to experience the atmosphere. You can easily request a trial lesson via our website or just drop in.
Do you also offer group lessons?
At our location, we offer Small Group Training with a maximum of 5 people. You train in a small group with a lot of personal attention, combining group motivation with the quality of personal training. In addition, we provide weekly outdoor boot camp lessons in the Martin Luther King Park, Vondelpark and Bella Vista park.
What types of training are we going to do?
We use a mix of functional strength training, endurance training, core stability and mobility exercises. If desired, we can also use specific forms, such as boxing or pilates. By varying, your body stays stimulated and the training sessions will never be boring.
Do I need to have a certain fitness level to become a member?
Absolutely not. Whether you're touching a weight for the first time or you're an experienced athlete, our workouts are always tailored to your level. We scale the intensity and technique so that you train safely and effectively.
What results can I expect?
In addition to improved fitness and more strength, you can count on more energy, less stress and better posture. As we work towards a sustainable lifestyle, you'll find that you're not only physically changing, but you'll also feel mentally stronger.
How long do I have to train with you to achieve my goal?
This depends on your goal, but most members see significant changes in their energy levels and strength after 4 to 6 weeks. You often experience a good feeling right after the start because the switch has been turned, but permanent transformations require time and consistency. We will support you in this in the long term.
What does a training look like?
Each session starts with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your body, followed by a core of strength or endurance training tailored to the day's focus. We'll end with a cool down and, if you want, a short chat.
What makes The Social Health Club different from any other gym?
With us, you are not a number, but part of a community. Where regular gyms often focus on equipment alone, we focus on the combination of physical training under personal guidance, relaxation and social connection. We offer the expertise of personal training with the fun of a club.
How many times a week should I train?
For optimal results, we recommend an average of 2 to 4 times a week. This gives your body sufficient incentives to change, while also leaving plenty of room for recovery.
